Audi: Audi is a German carmaker whose headquarters are in Ingolstadt. Audi: Audi was founded in 1909 and experienced significant developments after it merged with Audiwerke AG in 1932. Auto Union GmbH took hold of it. Audi today is a division of Volkswagen AG, the most prominent German automobile maker. We have manufacturing plants across all continents. The Audi logo is built with four rings parallel to each other in one row but superimposed on the others. The logo is a simple, globally identifiable brand mark for the automotive division. The remaining ring thicknesses are Audi Rings Standard, Audi Rings Medium, and the most elegant — its light version of Audi Ring Light. These are not model-specific. But the thing is, they contrast very well and don’t get lost in a sea of typography.

1909

The initial Audi logo dates to 1909. It is a pre-launch version built on the name created by August Hoch. The founder of the company means in German with his last name he comes from read on. The original version came from August Hoch’s business partners, a translation into Latin of the last name.
1909-1910

A completely new solution was developed in 1909. Shortly after the automobile company was registered, a brand new logo appeared in very professional black-and-white coloring. That emblem contained many iconic elements: a black triangle with the company name in white inside.
1910-1932

This almost did not change over the entire period this company has been in business. The only change is the font used for your company name. The other elements stay the same.
1932-1949

In 1929, the start of a global economic crisis meant Audi cars were almost not bought simply because there was no money on the market. Then, in 1932, a big deal happened. Horch, Wanderer, DKW and Audi merged. And so the car behemoth Auto Union AG was born.

1995-2009

Now, the designers even thought of a very cool and unusual version of the logo in 1995. They gave you the best of both worlds and summed it all up in a way that no one had ever done before. Rather than blue rings, three-dimensional silver rings emerged in his place. Beneath them, lettering spelling “Audi” appeared.
2009-2016

The designers modified it slightly in 2009. They moved the company name from the center to the bottom left, and the inscription is down. Silver rings have changed, and their numbers have likewise grown. The focal point was silver rings.
2016-Present

The 2016 Audi logo is a more readable version of the swoosh shape. The 3D elements are gone. The linked legendary rings look different now; they are black instead of silver. And there are no more messages. — The original logo of a car manufacturer is placed briefly
