Flipkart is an online marketplace in India where some users list their things for sale while others browse and purchase them. It serves as a middleman between consumers and manufacturers, allowing users to buy goods with assurances of their original provenance. Established in 2007, the web service is registered in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Sachin and Binny Bansal founded it. Following multiple ownership transitions, Walmart, an American retail platform, acquired a majority position in the commercial company. This incident happened in 2018.

2007-2010
The name of this company appeared in the initial Flipkart logo. It was created using a unique bubble typeface that has rounded edges. The word was written in lowercase glyphs, with a white exclamation mark and orange outlines in place of the letter “i.” The text was bright orange in the first half (“f”, “l”, “p”) and blue with a faint gradient in the second half (“k”, “a”, “r”, “t”).
2007-2011
Another logo surfaced in 2007; this one had the name of the business followed by a point and the domain name “com.” The area of the typography up to the dot was bolder because the designers intended it to stand out. The borders of the letters were slanted and had rounded corners. Vibrant orange is the predominant hue.
2011-2015
The logo’s original design featured a stylized supermarket grocery cart. On the left, two wheels and a handle are shown. The e-mail address of the online store (domain “.com”) is located on the right, making the logo informative and promoting. The entire name of the business website, “Flipkart,” is written in lowercase letters in the center.
The letter “f” was utilized by the designers to create the shape of the supermarket basket. The lower part, which has the wheels attached, is the outcome of them bending the leg to the left. Under the label, long and short strokes represent forward motion. The arrangement of all the components on a horizontal rectangle with the right corner chopped off gives the emblem even more movement.
2015-Present
The names of the retail chain and the pictures of the grocery packages, which are often given out at the checkout, are the only two details included in the present version. The designers drastically altered the font and positioned the term “Flipkart” on the left.
The top portion of the bag, which has a hanging handle, is located on the right side of the logo. There is a lowercase “f” with the bottom sliced off on a yellow backdrop. Her stroke is smeared horizontally, giving her uniqueness and accurately capturing the dynamics of movement. With the exception of a small tilt, this sign shares many external similarities with the Facebook icon, including rounded and smooth edges.
